MONTE CARLO – "We get to go to Russia quite often, don't we?" began Captain Zanetti as he analysed the Champions League draw in Monte Carlo over the phone speaking to Inter Channel. "Overall we can say that it's a balanced group once again. None of those games will be easy: all our opponents are useful, tricky sides. Obviously we'll try to do well right from the first match and go into each game on form – that's important.

"Lille are the current champions of France," Zanetti continued. "In Turkey there's always a tough atmposphere and going to Russia is no joke either. We're in good shape, though. We've been working to get ready for the start of the league season and if it doesn't go ahead this weekend we'll keep training to make sure we're at our best."

米兰消息 - 乌拉圭人由于已经代表马德里竞技参加欧联杯资格赛，已经无法再代表国米参加欧冠联赛的小组赛。



迭戈·弗兰不能参加欧冠联赛小组赛，我们只能在1月的淘汰赛看见他的国米欧冠首秀了。国米官方网站给出的解释是他直到2012年才能代表国米参加欧战。原因是在7月28日和8月4日，他代表马竞对阵过来自挪威的斯特罗姆戈德赛特队。战胜对手后马德里竞技又分别在8月15日和8月25对阵来自葡萄牙的吉马良斯队，但弗兰由于在和国际米兰商谈转会事宜，没有参加后2场比赛。

9月12日阿皮亚诺詹蒂莱消息 - 昨晚从巴勒莫回来后，今天上午国际米兰开始备战下一场比赛：2011-12赛季欧冠小组赛第一比赛日主场对特拉布宗体育，9月14日20:45开始。

安杰洛·莫拉蒂体育中心的训练分成三组，第一组是在昨晚联赛中出场时间较多的球员，主要做放松练习；第二组是出场时间较少和未出场的球员，进行了完整的训练(技术、战术、身体)。洛伦佐·克里塞蒂格(周六加入预备队)在第二组训练，还有卢卡·卡斯特拉齐。第三组是有伤在身的球员：卡斯特拉齐练了一会儿，卡尔迪罗拉、齐沃、科尔多巴、麦孔、蒂亚戈·莫塔、波利和维维亚诺按各自的需要进行康复练习。

Cambiasso: "It's a false start, not a tragedy"

APPIANO GENTILE – "We can expect a tough game, that's for sure." Esteban Cambiasso was the man chosen by Gian Piero Gasperini to speak at the press conference on the eve of Inter v Trabzonspor, and he began by commenting on the Turkish outfit: "I don't know of any team in the Champions League that is easy to play against and, regardless of the previous encounter between Inter and Trabzonspor many years ago [a 2-1 aggregate victory for Inter in the 1983/84 UEFA Cup], they will want to prove they are good enough to compete in the Champions League. We'll have to be very careful, and in particular watch out for their counters when we're on the attack."

Cambiasso was then asked in what frame of mind Inter go into this European fixture after the defeat against Palermo in the league: "We're extremely motivated. A team like ours doesn't get knocked back after losing a game, it looks forward to the next match straight away."

So how does a player react to the criticism? "As a player you just have to let it wash over you. Criticism mustn't affect your mood, you can't be looking around to see who is criticising you, how much and in what way. You just have to concentrate on doing your job," the Nerazzurri midfielder explained.

Talk turned to the 3-man defence, which has come in for a fair amount of criticism in certain quarters: "Sitting here and debating about whether to play 3 or 4 at the back is reductive: there are 10 men who defend in a team. When you analyse a game you can't just look at the formation. I've won playing with a 4-man defence and I've lost with a 4-man defence. Football is much more complicated than that."

When asked yet another question about what changes need to be made in the light of the Palermo defeat, Cambiasso replied; "What is the problem exactly? Because we lost a game? So you lose a game and then you're supposed to change everything from the president right down to the kit men? I really don't get what we're talking about. We lost, ok, but nobody has looked to pass the blame or make excuses. We just need to remain calm: we made some mistakes but we just have to stay calm. Personally I don't see any problem. All that's happened is that we lost a match, and it won't be the last time. It's a false start but let's not make a tragedy out of it. Now we must concentrate on the Champions League and on not making another false start."

Finally, a wish, which is also an invitation to the Nerazzurri faithful: "I hope the Interisti will get behind us at the stadium tomorrow for our first Champions League match. We'll be expecting them."

Inter 0-1 Trabzonspor: chances but no goals

MILAN - Inter were beaten 1-0 by Trabzonspor in this evening's 2011/12 UEFA Champions League Matchday 1 tie played at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza. After a goalless first half, the Nerazzurri engineered several excellent chances after the restart but couldn't find the net, then Celutska collected the rebound after Altintop had struck the bar (76th minute) and finished to give the Turks victory.

FIRST HALF – For his Champions League debut, Gasperini went with a 4-man defence and handed Pazzini a first European start for Inter up front alongside Zarate and Sneijder. Trabzonspor, who were also making their Champions League bow, were without their coach Gunes (his assistant Unal Karaman replaced him in the dugout), striker Yilmaz and midfielder Mierzejeski, who were all sent off in the Europa League play-off against Athletic Bilbao.
There was little action in the first 15 minutes and the intense heat didn't help matters. Sneijder hit a free kick into the wall (2nd minute) while down the other end a Turkish counter-attack came to an end when Lucio made a decisive challenge on Paulo Henrique (14). The Nerazzurri's first real chance was handed to them on a plate by the Turks in the 18th minute: Zarate surged forward with Pazzini in support but the Argentinian didn't see his team-mate and he was closed down by two defenders as he tried to break through; the ball fell for Obi, whose shot was also blocked by the Turkish rear guard. It wasn't until the 28th minute that the first ball came Julio Cesar's way, but Cech's effort went over. A foul on Sneijder by Kacar gave the Dutchman another opportunity in a promising position but he again shot into the wall. Shortly afterwards Zarate showed what he can do when one on one, tricking his way past a defender with a couple of stepovers and getting his shot on target, only to see Tolga stick out a hand and push it round the post. From the corner the ball fell from the sky for Pazzini, who coordinated himself for a volley on the turn but was unable to connect properly. Inter were the only side attacking at this point. Zarate had another chance when he latched onto a ball over the top but Tolga rushed out to deny the Argentinian a goal (34). That was followed by another Sneijder free kick, which cleared the wall this time but went straight into the keepers' arms (36). On the stroke of half-time Pazzini set up Cambiasso and El Cuchu struck the ball well but off target. Inter looked set to score just before the half-time whistle when Pazzini was put through by Sneijder, but the Italy striker was blown for offside. It was a dubious decision since he seemed to be kept in play by a defender on the near side. After a minute's stoppage time, Johannesson sent the teams into the dressing rooms with the scores even and goalless.

SECOND HALF - The second half began with another free kick for Sneijder following a foul on Pazzini: the Dutch maestro's curled effort skimmed Tolga's right-hand upright. Paulo Henrique tried his luck from distance but got it all wrong, before Inter threatened again through Zanetti, but play was halted by another dubious offside call (53). Gasperini shuffled the pack with a double change after 55 minutes, with Pazzini and Obi making way for Milito and Alvarez. The Prince didn't need long to make an impression: he beat his man for pace and whipped in a low cross from the byline but the ball was too far ahead of Alvarez. Zarate did well to make space for another shot inside the box but aimed too centrally making the keeper's task easy. Perhaps the best chance of the game fell to Milito in the 73rd minute, when he received the ball in front of the keeper. However, he could only fire straight at Trabzonspor's last line of defence, who then collected the ball as it trickled goalwards before anyone else could swoop. Zanetti kept leading by example and his cross found Milito again, whose glancing header went close but over. Like in Palermo, just as Inter were on top, the opposition scored: Altintop's shot came back off the bar but fell to Celutska, who scored as he slid on the turn. Inter went looking for an equaliser and, after Sneijder had won the ball, substitute Coutinho let fly with a shot on the run, but Tolga dived to save and frustrate the Nerazzurri once more. After four minutes of added time, the match ended 0-1.

The only thing to do is put our heads down and work. This is a difficult moment; we've suffered two defeats that we didn't expect and didn't deserve either. MILAN - A match in which the ball simply did not want to know about going into Tolga's net, not even when it was right at Diego Milito's feet. For Trabzonspor, however, just one shot brought a goal. The Argentine striker explained: "We know that that's how football goes. When you make a mistake in this type of competition you pay for it. This happened today. We had given away little and we let in an incredible goal, but unfortunately that's how it went. Now we have to move forward and look towards Saturday."

Inter received much criticism after Palermo, and there will be even more after today's defeat: "We know that there is criticism in football, especially for us. But we mustn't think about it. We have to look ahead and continue on our path. We have great qualities to do well. Right now the results are not the ones we want, but we are at the beginning and we still have everything in our hands. Will I guarantee for Gasperini? Certainly. We are all convinced that we'll do great things together."

JULIO CESAR 6 – L’unico brivido, se proprio vogliamo chiamarlo così, è il tiro da fuori che si spegne altissimo di Cech al 27esimo. Il rischio semmai se lo procura lui con una respinta di pugno un po’ azzardata. Sul gol nulla può.

JONATHAN 6 – Si fa vedere, anima la manovra offensiva o almeno ci prova capita che i compagni non lo assecondino. Tanta quantità, anche se forse in fase di spinta potrebbe fare qualcosa in più.

LUCIO 6 – Sempre puntuale nelle diagonali e negli interventi difensivi. Ottimo anche quando mette una pezza sull’errore di Zanetti. Determinante anche nella ripresa, con due chiusure prodigiose. Insomma, una bella prova fino almeno all’azione del gol va troppo morbido su Celutska consentendogli di colpire.

RANOCCHIA 7,5 – Considerato il suo divorzio traumatico con la Champions League della scorsa stagione, la sua prova è davvero importante. Grande lavoro soprattutto fisico per frenare le incursioni degli avversari specie nei primi minuti. Spazza via nella ripresa un pallone dall’area che poteva diventare velenoso. Si concede anche qualche numero di alta classe e un po’ di trash talking con l’irritante Zokora. Nell’assalto disperato finale, prova anche l’acrobazia in rovesciata.

NAGATOMO 5,5 – Si prende un giallo nel fermare Balci che gli aveva strappato la palla. Prova a riscattarsi con un’azione offensiva culminata con un lob bello quanto infruttuoso. Ha anche un bel contropiede a disposizione, ma lo spreca. Prova a rendersi più utile nella ripresa.

ZANETTI 6 – Solita grande generosità, che però talvolta si traduce in qualche pallone perso di troppo; ma anche in una serie di bei recuperi, come quello che va a fermare la percussione di Colman.

CAMBIASSO 5 – Quando il Trabzonspor tenta le sortite in avanti, lì in mezzo appare forse l’elemento meno sicuro. Tenta la staffilata da fuori, ma manca la coordinazione e il pallone finisce fuori. E’ preoccupante a tratti il ritardo che patisce in velocità al cospetto degli avversari. Compie il patatrac quando serve a Celutska la palla del vantaggio turco.

OBI 5+ – Generoso ma parecchio testardo, va talvolta a testa bassa portando palla consentendo alla difesa del Trabzonspor di riorganizzarsi. In fase di recupero prova a farsi sentire, non sempre con successo. Poi bisticcia troppo con la palla.  
DAL 54’ ALVAREZ 5 – Entra per dare più freschezza alla manovra; paga talvolta un po’ di gap sul piano fisico, cerca di rendersi utile ma i risultati faticano a vedersi. Arriva in ritardo sull’invitante assist di Milito, quando prova a tirare sforna conclusioni da dimenticare. Anche un giallo per lui.

SNEIJDER 6,5 – Restituito al ruolo di trequartista, l’olandese cerca la solita ispirazione provando ad aprire varchi nella difesa turca chiusa a cerniera. Due punizioni che potrebbero creare pericoli vengono deviate dalla barriera. Ottimi due recuperi, poi verso la fine del primo tempo comincia ad accusare dei dolori alla coscia. Lui stringe i denti, continua a pungere malgrado i difensori non gli risparmino le classiche stecche.

PAZZINI 5,5 – Lotta, va a pressare il portiere, il prato di San Siro lo tradisce impedendogli di ricevere un bell’assist e trovarsi a tu per tu con Tolga. Ha però sulla coscienza il vantaggio divorato al minuto 31, quando, su assist involontario di un difensore avversario, si produce in un liscio pazzesco. Avrebbe un’altra grande chance quando viene fermato per fuorigioco inesistente. Debutto in Champions a secco.
DAL 55’ MILITO 5,5 – Anche lui, come il Pazzo, riesce a inghiottirsi un gol praticamente fatto, scontrandosi con l’abilità mista a fortuna di Tolga (anche se la posizione appare dubbia); poco dopo la palla finisce fuori di nulla su colpo di testa. Lampi di una serata non proprio brillante per lui.

ZARATE 5,5 – Prima mezz’ora spenta: quando la difesa turca gli serve un pallone insperato, si intestardisce nel puntare la porta facendo sfumare un micidiale contropiede. Il Pazzo lo sprona al dialogo, solo che quando ci prova sbaglia spesso. Poi si scuote un po’: sua l’occasionissima che esalta i riflessi di Tolga. Subito dopo il portiere blu granata gli chiede abilmente lo specchio. Ammonito per un brutto intervento su Paulo Henrique. Buona palla per lui anche a metà ripresa, ma tiro troppo debole.
DAL 77’ COUTINHO 6 – Debutta nell’Inter di Gasperini poco dopo che la frittata è fatta; anche lui si vede abbassare la sbarra da Tolga. Da elogiare perché negli affondi finali getta il cuore oltre l’ostacolo. E siamo sicuri che al 93esimo non ci sia un contatto da penalty?

ALLENATORE: GASPERINI 4,5 – La gara assume i contorni dell’assalto ad un fortino, solo che anche con il ritorno della difesa a 4 a volte la squadra appare decisamente a corto di idee. E certi errori in un contesto così diventano pesantissimi, e infatti al primo affondo concreto del Trabzonspor arriva la doccia gelata del gol di Celutska, che ha letteralmente tagliato le gambe alla formazione nerazzurra. Che oltretutto si ritrova a giocare in un San Siro dominato dai cori e dai fischi dei supporters di Trebisonda.
