这一轮欧冠比赛的最佳阵容Champions League Team Of The Round: Matchday FiveGoal.com runs through the best in show from the fifth set of fixtures... Nov 25, 2010 10:58:00 AM
Best Formation: 4-3-3
Goalkeeper
Allan McGregor - Rangers
Looked assured and solid as he organised the Rangers five-man defence. Stayed alert to save Berbatov's first half header and keep out drives from Carrick and Berbatov after the break. No chance with Rooney's late penalty that downed his side.
Defence
Cesar Azpilicueta- Marseille
A magnificent defensive performance from the young Spanish right-back, who is growing into the role on the right of les Phoceens’ defence. When the Meat threatened, ‘Azpli’ was invariably on hand to deal with the danger with a last ditch challenge or interception.
Bevan Fransman - Hapoel Tel Aviv
An absolute rock for Hapoel at the back as they beat Benfica 3-0. Time and time again he had to deal with the pressure down the middle and prevailed.
Alessandro Nesta - Milan
The 34-year-old was at his vintage best in the 2-0 win at Auxerre that clinched Milan's place in the last 16. Counless interceptions and perfectly timed tackles.
Adriano - Barcelona
Adriano put in a fine performance and played a key role in Barcelona's win. The new signing provided the assist for the second goal and caused Pana all kinds of problems with his runs forward.
Midfield
Luka Modric - Tottenham Hotspur
The Croatian has been one of the stars of this season's Champions League and he was outstanding again in the 3-0 win over Werder Bremen, scoring a beautiful second.
Juan Mata - Valencia
Inspirational in the 6-1 thrashing of Bursaspor. Scored one, made one, and ran the Turkish league champions ragged with some sublime play.
Jeremy Menez - Roma
The catalyst behind Roma's incredible comeback win from two goals down against Bayern Munich. Menez ran the Germans ragged with his skill and pace, as he demonstrated in his assist for Marco Borriello's goal.
Attack
Matheus - Braga
Shot down Arsenal 2-0 in Portugal with a brilliant double in the last 10 minutes. If the first wasn't impressive enough, the second saw Matheus skin a host of players before smashing the ball in off the bar.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic - Milan
Enjoying a stunning start to his Milan career, Ibrahimovic was again the difference in France with a thumping opener to break the deadlock. Held the ball up admirably.
Klaas Jan Huntelaar - Schalke
Continues to score goals for fun. Yet another two strikes in the 3-0 victory over Lyon that qualified Schalke for the next round. Superb positioning as always.
