Parma fought back to secure a surprise away win against Napoli this evening in a five goal thriller.
Napoli broke the deadlock within three minutes when Lavezzi burst down the right flank rolling a ball across for Quagliarella to tap in from seven yards after a mix up within the Parma defence.
Lavezzi once again caused Parma trouble as his angled drive was palmed around the post by Mirante. While Marek Hamsik nearly doubled Parma’s lead before half time but for a series of deflections that eventually hit the side netting.
Parma then equalised just on the hour mark with a superb counter attack as Hernan Crespo surged into the box sliding the ball across between two defenders for Antonelli to fire in marking his first ever Serie A goal.
Five minutes later Parma turned the game around taking the lead for the first time through Alessandro Lucarelli’s bullet of a header straight from a Galloppa corner kick.
Napoli had a chance to equalise straight after however Bogliacino ended up prodding the ball into Mirante’s arms. However they did grab the equaliser on 78 minutes when Quagliarella cushioned a Zuniga cross for Hamsik to blast into the bottom corner.
However Parma dramatically grabbed the winner with five minutes remaining which once again saw Crespo involved in the build up this time setting up the arriving Luis Jimenez to fire home and grab the full three points.
