Diego Maradona's doctor has issued an upbeat bulletin on the Argentinian's condition, but expects him to remain in hospital for another fortnight. The former World Cup winner was admitted to hospital last week after falling ill on the eve of a trip to Europe. Maradona's doctor Alfredo Cahe claims the 46-year-old is making good progress, but is expecting him to remain in medical care for another two weeks. "We've found out test results we were not expecting," Cahe told Radio Mitre. "I estimate he will be there (in hospital) for no less than 15 days. "Just yesterday night (Sunday) I saw a real clinical improvement in him and in the tests." Cahe also took time to aim a swipe at a section of Maradona's entourage. "I'm not talking about his family, they are wonderful people who really love him," he added. "But, as usually happens, there are some others who are hanging on to him for their own personal interest. "It has always happened in the 30 years I've known him." 老马健康状况好转,但医生希望老马继续住院观察14天左右。 |
