 BRESCIA - Sport and solidarity join hands on Saturday evening in a charity friendly between ex-Inter and Brescia players at the Centro Sportivo Rigamonti in Bettola di Buffalora, Brescia province.

Inter Club Brescia Nerazzurra has organised the 'Playing for a Smile' event to raise funds for two charity organisations that help children in the pediatric oncology wards of the hospitals in Brescia.

Among the former Inter stars on show are Giuseppe Baresi, Nazzareno Canuti, Benoit Cauet, Angiolino Gasparini, Marco Monti, Leonardo Occhipinti, Franco Pancheri, Giancarlo Pasinato and Silvano Fontolan.

After the match Inter Channel's Roberto Scarpini and Inter fans and comedians Enrico Bertolino, Flavio Oreglio and Paniate & Santonastaso will animate a gala dinner at the Hotel Majestic in Castenedolo, near Brescia.

MILAN - Inter Campus Worldwide's Ricardo Martinez of Colombia and Paul Zummit of Malta have been appointed to the coaching staff of two of the best teams in their respective countries. The president of Asociacion Deportivo Calì, one of the most successful clubs in Colombia, has named Inter Campus Colombia technical coordinator Martinez as assistant coach. Inter Campus Malta technical coordinator Zummit has signed a deal with F.C. Valletta to become head coach of Malta's most famous club.

　　德国世界杯决赛上，法国中场核心齐达内对意大利中卫马特拉齐的惊世一头，使得自己红牌离场、间接导致了球队的最终失利，也让两人结下了深深的梁子。国际足联此后对二位当事人各打五十大板，但这段恩怨时至今日也未能化解。

　　前一阵子，马特拉齐一直都在争取主动同齐祖求和，但由于对方迟迟不予理睬，这位意大利铁汉如今也准备摒弃这一念头。

　　怕被别人看不起

　　在世界杯意法决战的加时赛上，齐达内被马特拉齐辱骂他姐姐的言语激怒，一头狠狠撞向了对方的胸膛。齐祖随即被红牌罚下，一代艺术大师也就此走完了职业生涯的最后一步路。从此之后，两人再也没有见过面。“我已经尽了一切可能同他和好，但我现在也只得选择放弃，因为我怕被别人看不起。”马特拉齐在科维尔恰诺国家队训练基地无奈地说道，“我告诉国际足联我决心这样做，但是如今我已经厌烦了这个僵局。到头来我是惟一付出的人。”

　　“顶人”事件事发后，国际足联也对两位当事人进行了处罚：齐达内被判罚禁赛三场，并罚款7500瑞士法郎。而马特拉齐则被停赛两场，同时罚款5000瑞士法郎。由于齐祖已经确定退役，禁赛已无任何意义，所以国际足联决定让这位法国巨星在社区服务中指导孩子和年轻人三天。判罚结果早已布告天下，但舆论针对这一事件仍然在议论纷纷。

　　“我一直都听到了很多有关我的负面评论，包括法国队主帅雷蒙德·多梅内克最新的言论，他说我是世界上最激进的球员。这并不是事实，但我更愿意去忽略这些事情。”马特拉齐表示。

　　再夺冠让某些人闭嘴

　　谈到国际米兰目前遭遇的意大利电信窃听丑闻和球队表现平平的双重艰难，马特拉齐表示：“自从我们被授予了上赛季联赛冠军后，我们一直都被错误的方式所描绘。有人说这个冠军是丑陋的。我惟一知道的是我想在球场上再赢得一座冠军奖杯，让某些对我们说三道四的人闭嘴，这样我们就能在时隔17年之后好好庆祝一番。”

　　昨日，前国米前锋维耶里在得知自己也被意大利电信窃听之后，怒不可遏的“波波”已经打算控告莫拉蒂和他的俱乐部。对于前队友的这一举动，马特拉齐也予以了理解。“我认为维耶里只是想捍卫自己，当你的私生活被曝光，你也不会好受，”马特拉齐表示，“他是一位值得尊敬的人，他为国米贡献了5年青春，我可以理解他此时的失望。”

　　法国球迷状告国际足联

　　据新华社电在今年夏天的德国世界杯足球赛决赛中，法国队队长齐达内因“头槌”顶倒意大利队后卫马特拉奇被红牌罚下，法国队也在最后的点球决胜中负于意大利队而与冠军奖杯无缘。法国有一些球迷至今似乎仍没有咽下这口气，他们日前把国际足联告上法庭。

　　一个名为“2006世界杯决赛真相团”的民间组织已委托律师向巴黎地方法院递交了诉状。该组织对齐达内犯规被罚下的事实没有多少争议，但他们抓住了裁判执法中的一个疑点；齐达内吃红牌的起因是场外“第四裁判”认定了齐达内的犯规，问题在于他是亲眼所见还是根据录像回放得出的结论。如果是后者，就意味着裁判当时是根据录像执法，这显然违反了国际足联的有关规则，那么判罚应该无效。

　　控方律师指出，世界杯决赛后，不少人认为当时裁判判罚的根据是借助录像。他要求法庭弄清事实真相，如有必要就传讯有关人员，还球迷一个公道。

　　世界杯上齐达内和马特拉齐的纠纷仍旧没有结束，近日马特拉齐已经就齐达内顶人事件写了一本书，题目叫做《我究竟对齐达内说了什么》。等到出版之日，全世界的人都将了解当时场上发生的真实情况。

　　在今夏世界杯决赛中，齐达内头顶马特拉齐被红牌罚出场已经成了足球界乃至整个社会津津乐道的话题。事件发生后，法国媒体通过录像、唇语专家等方式想了解马特拉齐究竟说了什么惹恼了齐达内，而国际足联更是对马特拉齐做出了停赛两场的处罚。如今，国际米兰和意大利国家队的主力后卫决定进一步满足公众的好奇心，因此撰写了这样一本调侃性质的书。

　　此书将于10月底出版，定价10欧元。在100页的正文中，收录了249个可能导致顶人事件的幽默短语，比如“嘿，你知道胸腔到底在哪儿吗？”、“齐达内，你在干什么呢？你们还没有输球，你怎么就把头发都刮了？”。当然，也包括了马特拉齐到底对齐达内说了哪些话。在序言中，马特拉齐写道“亲爱的读者，你将会看到，我很有兴趣将顶人事件荒谬的一面进行扩展。”

　　据悉，此书还将被翻译成英语在国际市场上出售，而所得收入将捐献给联合国儿童基金会。（小鸣）

 MILAN - Ivan Ramiro Cordoba and Luis Figo have added their signatures to the Christian Blind Mission's 'Sign up for Sight' campaign that can and must unite everyone in the recognition that sight is a fundamental human right. Ahead of World Sight Day, an annual event focusing on the problem of global blindness to be celebrated on Friday, the two Inter stars have joined Christian Blind Mission world ambassador Pelé in launching the 'Sign up for Sight' campaign, which aims to collect 20 million signatures.

PRIMAVERA HOME MATCHES AT INTERELLO

 MILAN - Inter's Primavera (U19) team will play their 2006/07 season league and cup matches at the academy's Interello training facility in via Sbarbaro 5/7 in the Niguarda district of Milan. A new 1000-seater stand will be inaugurated in Saturday's championship match against Brescia (kick-off at 14:30), and entrance will be free.

Inter's Allievi Nazionali (U17) team will also play their 2006/07 season home matches (usually at 10:30 on Saturday mornings) at Interello.

All press accreditation requests for matches at Interello Sports Centre should be faxed to +39 02 6458758. Faxes should arrive by 18:00 two days before the match in question.

 MILAN - Luis Figo presented his new book this evening in the most important room of Italian journalism: the Montanelli Hall in the headquarters of Italian newspapers Corriere della Sera and Gazzetta dello Sport. In the presence of Gazzetta editor-in-chief Carlo Verdelli, the Portuguese star answered questions from the many fans in attendance and signed over a hundred copies of Classe Figo.

"I wanted to do a different book from all the others, where pictures more than words would tell my story and convey my idea of the game I love," said Figo. "Yes, I have won a lot in my career but I think every man, and not just every sportsman, should never look at what he has done, but be spurred to reach new targets. I have always thought this way, right from the start. For me it is important to train and work hard every day but your target must always be victory, otherwise there remains the doubt that you have wasted time."

ITALY V TURKEY IN BERGAMO FOR FACCHETTI

 MILAN - The Italian Football Federation (FIGC) has announced that November's friendly international between Italy and Turkey will be played in the city of Bergamo to honour the memory of Giacinto Facchetti,

"We want to remember the champion and the man, an example of seriousness, honesty and sporting loyalty," says FIGC vice commissioner Gigi Riva, a former Azzurri team-mate of Facchetti. "In such a delicate and difficult time for Italian football, his style and way of interpreting the sport must be a lesson, particularly for the young."

The FIGC will collaborate with Bergamo's local government in the organisation of a number of parallel activities around the friendly international, involving young players and children from the city's schools.

UEFA BACKS ANTI-RACISM CAMPAIGN

 MILAN - UEFA press release: UEFA calls on the European football family to 'Unite Against Racism'.

This October, UEFA’s highest profile club competition will bring together fans, communities, and the biggest names in European football in the 'Unite Against Racism' campaign.

All the teams taking part in the UEFA Champions League will show their opposition to racism as part of UEFA's contribution to the Football Against Racism in Europe (FARE) Action Week.

During FARE Action Week, European football comes together to celebrate football’s ability to bring together different communities. Between 17 and 30 October, hundreds of activities will be organised in countries stretching the length and breadth of Europe.

The UEFA president, Lennart Johansson, welcomed the action week and called upon anyone in the football world who has not yet taken a stand against racism to join the fight.

"UEFA is proud to be backing the FARE Action Week against racism and discrimination. We appreciate the opportunity to underline our unwavering commitment to eradicating racism in our game.

"Between 17 and 30 October, clubs playing in the UEFA Champions League will use their profile to unite against racism, both in football and in society as a whole.

UEFA HONOURS FACCHETTI IN COVERCIANO

 FLORENCE - At nine o'clock on Tuesday morning European football's governing body UEFA will hold a ceremony at the Italian national team's training centre in Coverciano, Tuscany to honour the memory of the late Inter president Giacinto Facchetti, who during his career was part of UEFA's technical development committee.

Several members of Facchetti's family will attend the ceremony, and will be presented with an award. Guido Vantaggiato, a longstanding secretary and director at Coverciano, will also be remembered.

The ceremony will take place on the sidelines of the 16th UEFA course for academy coaches, which began today and runs until Thursday. Over 140 coaches representing the 52 UEFA member associations as well as federations from Africa, North Asia and Central America, are taking part in the event, including Inter Primavera coach Vincenzo Esposito who will give a presentation on Thursday.

 MILAN - On those few occasions when the packed fixture schedule permits, Inter players never miss out on the chance to take part in charity events to put a smile on the face of those most in need. Brazilian pair Maicon and Maxwell kept up the tradition last night, making an appearance at a solidarity initiative organised by the Obiettivo Persona association in favour of the CBM (Centre for Mistreated Children).

Obiettivo Persona president Lia Chiarello thanked F.C. Internazionale and the two players for their great sensibility. Proceeds from a prize draw will go entirely to the CBM, represented at the event by its president Virginio Marchesi. CBM operates in and around Milan and has four hostels in which a total of forty children are provided with care.

INTER CAMPUS COURSE IN ARGENTINA

 MILAN - The first Inter Campus Worldwide technical training course of the year has concluded in Argentina. Inter Campus' Raffaele Quaranta, supported by the excellent coaches of Zanetti's Fundacion PUPI, held the final part of the coaching course at the charity association's training facility. The course began at the new Inter Campus Argentina set-up in Pilar, where 150 fifty children from this small town 50km south of Buenos Aires will be involved in the project.

第一届年度国际米兰学校全球教练培训课程在阿根廷结束，课程的主要内容是如何进行技术训练。国际米兰学校的拉斐尔·夸兰塔在萨内蒂的PUPI基金会的教练们配合下完成了这次课程的最后一部分。
