这是司马在赛季结束后回罗马老家度假时接受了罗体的一篇采访。
由于是面对家乡媒体，司马谈得非常详尽，里面涵盖的内容也很多。从国际米兰在企鹅转会时就在邀请他加盟的运作、大拿帮他掌控更衣室、鸟主动联系他给出自己的管理建议、他对一些球员的定位和评价等等。可惜被媒体只抓住鸟的部分大加渲染，其它部分被削弱了。

Premiato nei giorni scorsi a Roma, Andrea Stramaccioni nella redazione de Il Corriere dello Sport ha rilasciato un'intervista che parte subito con una rivelazione attesissima e clamorosa: "Sì, sento José Mourinho. Diciamo che mi aiuta a guidare la mia Inter, con i suoi sms tutto è più facile. Sono molto preziosi, seguirò tutti i suoi consigli". Non solo lo Special One ispira Stramaccioni: "Spalletti è la mia fonte d'ispirazione, Montella un vero amico". Chi dà una grande mano nello spogliatoio è il capitano: "Zanetti è assolutamente decisivo per me".
La chiamata nerazzurra: “Un qualcosa di incredibile. Il presidente mi ha convocato in uno studio legale e abbiamo parlato di prima squadra per due ore. Dopo queste due ore ho saputo che l’avrei allenata. Una cosa però è tenere in mano una squadra per nove partite, un’altra allenare da inizio stagione. Sto facendo un master accelerato. Cent’anni di Primavera non bastano a prepararti all’Inter e ogni giorno ne imparo una nuova. Domenica scorsa, ad esempio, ho detto a Reja che la partita l’aveva vinta lui, dato che parlava tutto il tempo col quarto uomo”.
Elettrizzato per l’avvio della nuova stagione: “Devo avere l’umiltà di ascoltare. Non a caso ho lo staff dei tempi di Mourinho al quale ho integrato i miei collaboratori. A breve faremo una riunione per programmare la preparazione estiva. Non sono preoccupato, anzi grazie a queste nove partite conosco meglio la squadra. Potevo allenare l’Inter prima? Forse non mi conoscevano bene, non c’era quell’empatia data dal lavoro e dai risultati. A marzo sono stato “pesato” dal presidente che è venuto a Londra col figlio, al posto di andare a Torino per Juve-Inter. Se sono all’Inter devo ringraziare Roberto Samaden, Piero Ausilio e lo storico osservatore Pierluigi Casiraghi”.
La fine del rapporto con la Roma: “L’Inter, nel 2010, mi voleva e cercò di inserirmi nella trattativa per Burdisso, ma i dirigenti non mi lasciarono andare. La presidentessa Sensi mi diceva che ero il futuro della Roma. Ottenni una clausola nel contratto con la quale avevo una settimana di tempo per decidere il mio futuro qualora non avessi avuto ciò che volevo (la Primavera, ndr). La Roma decise poi di rimanere con Alberto De Rossi. Il suo lavoro è sotto gli occhi di tutti, ma io avevo bisogno di progredire. Mi sono comportato bene e la nuova proprietà, letto il mio contratto, mi lasciò andare. Non ho nulla contro Alberto De Rossi. Giustamente ha voluto tenere la panchina della Roma. Nulla da dire, ma io non potevo allenare per sempre gli Allievi. Si è creato un dualismo romano, difficile da ricucire. Non mi vergogno a dire che sono rimasto male quando ho lasciato la Roma. In certe situazioni perdi un po’ di quel disincantato che avevi da ragazzo. Ora però ho sposato il progetto Inter. A Roma avevo un grandissimo rapporto con Conti, Totti, Vito Scala e la dottoressa Mazzoleni”.
Il rapporto con Montella: “Un grande amico. Fu lui ad accompagnarmi nell’aprile 2010 al primo incontro con l’Inter e la sera guardammo Inter-Barcellona. Un grande amico, su di lui posso sempre contare”.
L’impatto con lo spogliatoio: “La prima volta che sono entrato nello spogliatoio però ho avuto un attimo di sbandamento e ho sbagliato anche ad aprire la porta. Dopo ho visto Maicon, Sneijder, Julio Cesar, Pazzini, Milito... Ho pensato: Mamma mia.... Neppure la Juve campione d'Italia ha quei giocatori, gente che ha scritto la storia del calcio. Lo ammetto, in quel momento ho un po’ sbarellato”. Il rapporto schietto con Pazzini: “Pazzini? Il dialogo tra noi è stato secco, costante e rispettoso. Potrà dire che non capisco niente di calcio, non che non sono un uomo. Lo ringrazio perché non ha fatto mai una polemica e ha deciso il derby”.
Moduli tattici: “Il modulo migliore per coprire il campo è il 4-3-3. Può variare l’interpretazione della mediana, nel senso che ci può essere un vertice basso e uno alto. Non sono integralista sul modulo, ma sull’idea di calcio. A Roma abbiamo fatto una gara offensiva per un’ora, nonostante non potessimo giocare con tre elementi offensivi. Se hai Sneijder, sviluppi il gioco in un modo, senza in un altro”.
L’sms di Mourinho: “Quando ho visto l’sms con la firma di Josè Mourinho, pensavo fosse uno scherzo. Ma poi ho chiesto al nostro team manager Andrea Butti che mi ha detto di aver dato lui il numero a Mourinho. E’ un piacere parlare con il migliore allenatore al mondo. Quando ha visto la mia Inter giocare, mi ha subito consigliato di non cambiare e non farmi contaminare. Ho cercato di dare un’impronta a questa Inter. Credo di esserci riuscito, ma devo sempre migliorarmi”.
Il futuro dell’Inter. Quanto manca per essere una squadra da Scudetto? “Se ti chiami Inter devi puntare allo Scudetto. Lo dico con poca diplomazia e sapendo che tra noi e la Juve ci sono 20 punti di distacco. Io però alleno gente abituata a vincere. Non a caso dopo una settimana dal mio arrivo parlavo di terzo posto”. Ritocchi o rifondazione: “Dobbiamo ritoccare. Attraverso i ritocchi possiamo ricostruire. La rifondazione parte da una linea precisa che abbiamo in testa”.
Il mercato però è l'argomento caldo: "Ci penserà Moratti, ha le idee chiare per gli acquisti. All'Inter si può solo vincere, arriveranno più colpi e sarà l'anno zero per noi". Lavezzi e Lucas i nomi bollenti: "Sono entrambi super, sia Lavezzi che Lucas. Magari arrivassero!". Chi andrà via è invece Zarate: "Lo stimo molto, ma alle cifre della Lazio è fuori mercato".
Gli piacerebbe allenare Balotelli? “Non lo conosco personalmente ma nell’ambiente nerazzurro tutti lo considerano un bravo ragazzo. E’ un patrimonio per il calcio italiano. Fa i suoi errorucci che non mi sento di giudicare”. Differenza tra Primavera e Serie A: “Passa un Gran Canyon. Sono pochi i giocatori che possono fare il salto. Ci vorrebbe un campionato intermedio per far crescere i giovani e far capire loro che le cose da professionisti sono fatte con un’intensità diversa”. Ultimo commento su Guarin: “Un ottimo giocatore che cresce giorno per giorno e si inserisce bene come interno. Ha qualità e forza. Veniva da un lungo infortunio”.

He said that he will help me lead my Inter and with his text messages, everything is easier. They are very precious and I will follow his advice.” Not only the Special One inspires Stramaccioni: “Spaletti is my source of inspiration and Montella is a true friend. Zanetti? He is absolutely essential for me.”
The call to be the coach at Inter: “It is something incredible. The president called me to a lawyer’s office and we talked about the first team for two hours. After those two hours, he knew that I could coach. It is one thing to have a team in nine games, another is to coach from the beginning of the season. One hundred years with Primavera will not be enough to prepare for Inter and everyday I learn something new.”
Excited to start the new season: “I must have the humility to listen. Soon we will have a meeting to plan summer preparation. I am not worried because thanks to these nine games, I now know the team better. In March I was “pressured” by the president because he flew to London with his son instead of going to Turin for Juventus-Inter. I am now at Inter thanks to Roberto Samaden, Piero Ausilio and the mythical scout in Pierluigi Casiraghi.”
“Inter, in 2010, wanted me and tried to include me in negotiations for Burdisso but Roma directors did not let me go. President Sensi told me that I was the future of Roma. I got a clause in my contract with which I had a week to decide my future if I had not gotten what I wanted (coaching Roma Primavera). Roma decided to stay with Alberto De Rossi. His work was in the watchful eyes of everyone but I needed to progress. I behaved well and the new owner, after reading my contract, let me go. I have nothing against Alberto De Rossi. Rightfully so, he wanted to keep coaching Roma. I had nothing to say but I could not coach the Allievi forever. I am not ashamed to say that I was disappointed when I left Rome. In certain situations, you lose some of that magic that you had as a boy but now I have embraced the project at Inter. In Rome, I had a great relationship with Conti, Totti, Vito Scala and Dr. Mazzoleni. Montella? A great friend. He accompanied me in April 2010 to the first meeting with Inter and on that evening, we watched Inter-Barcelona. A great friend, I can always count on him.”
The impact with the dressing room: “The first time I entered the dressing room, I had a moment of confusion and I even opened the wrong door. After I saw Maicon, Sneijder, Julio Cesar, Pazzini, Milito… I thought: Mamma mia… Not even the current Italian Champions Juventus have those players, people who wrote the history of football. I admit, at that moment, I was a little bit… ‘high.’”
Relationship with Pazzini: “Pazzini? The dialogue between us is dry, constant and respectful. I thank him because he has never made a controversy and decided the derby.”
On the text messages from Mourinho: “When I saw the text messages with the signature of Jose Mourinho, I thought it was a joke. But then I asked our team manager Andrea Butti and he said that he had given my number to Jose Mourinho. It was a pleasure to talk with the best coach in the world. When he saw my Inter play, I was advised not to change and not get contaminated. I tried to give an impression to this Inter. I think I succeeded but I must always get better.”
On the future of Inter. What does this team need to win the Scudetto? “If you are called Inter, you must always focus on winning the Scudetto. I say this with little diplomacy and knowing between us and Juve, there was a 20-point gap. But I am coaching the players who are used to winning. No coincidence that a week after my arrival, I started talking about the third spot.”
Transfer market: “Moratti will think about it. He has clear ideas for future purchases. Lavezzi and Lucas? They are both super, Lavezzi and Lucas. Perhaps they will come.” The one leaving is Mauro Zarate: “I respect him a lot but the figure that Lazio are asking for makes him out of the transfer market.” Coaching Balotelli? “I do not know him personally but at Inter, people regard him as a good person. He is an asset of Italian football. He has made some mistakes that I would not judge.”
Last comment on Guarin: “A good player who is growing every day and settling down well. He has quality and strength and just came back from a major injury.”
