Batistuta: Wonderful To End My Career In Florence

02/27/2004. Veteran Argentine striker Gabriel Batistuta is in talks with Fiorentina over a summer return to the club.

"Goodness knows if I will come back to Florence," said Batistuta, who is currently plying his trade in Qatar. "I may even decide to come back here to play. It would be wonderful to end my career with Fiorentina, helping them make it back to the top.

Gabriel Batistuta has revealed he would love to play for Boca Juniors and Fiorentina before hanging up his boots, but knows it could be difficult to pull off.
The Argentine legend is currently playing in Qatar and is expected to stay with Al-Arabi until 2005, before assessing other options. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Batistuta has always maintained he would look to play with former club Fiorentina before settling down and retiring in Florence, but the thought of also playing for Boca clearly appeals.

"My idea is to play one more year and then return to Italy," he told Radio Mitre. "The
