En las postrimerías del primer tiempo, Javier Saviola ha logrado el segundo de la noche, minutos después que Losantos Omar rectificara una decisión de penalty de Valdés sobre Congo. Ya en la segunda mitad, con el Levante mucho más ofensivo, el Barça ha logrado marcar el tercero, obra de Ronaldinho de penalty, tras una buena acción individual de Saviola, que ha sido barrido por el ex bético Olías. En los últimos compases, los de Manolo Preciado han marcado el 3-1 y el nerviosismo se ha apoderado del Camp Nou que ha respirado tranquilo cuando Losantos Omar ha pitado el final.
