10月14日阿皮亚诺詹蒂莱消息 - 客场对卡塔尼亚赛前的最后一次训练，马西莫·莫拉蒂主席和技术总监马尔科·布兰卡来到安杰洛·莫拉蒂体育中心看望球队。热身过后是技战术练习和11对11的比赛。

Catania 2-1 Inter: Cambiasso is not enough

CATANIA - Inter were at the Stadio Angelo Massimino, and things still weren't going right. The game ended as a 2-1 defeat against Catania, and once again it was a penalty – the fourth one awarded against the Nerazzurri this season – that decided the match.

Inter quickly took the lead through Cambiasso on a cross from Maicon in the 6th minute, and the left-footed volley from "El Cuchu" made it 0-1. Then everything changed in the second half. First came a great goal from Almiron, followed by a penalty awarded for a foul on Berghessio, although it was clear that the player allowed himself to fall under contact with Castellazzi. Lodi then stepped up to the spot and made it 2-1.

FIRST HALF - Claudio Ranieri had to deal with the absence of two suspended players (Ranocchia and Obi) and six players who were still unavailable (Sneijder, Chivu, Coutinho, Forlan, Julio Cesar and Poli). To face Catania he chose Castellazzi in goal, a 4-man midfield of Zanetti, Cambiasso, Muntari and Stankovic in support of attackers Milito and Pazzini.

A heavy rain welcomed Inter onto the pitch of the Stadio Angelo Massimino and the meeting was a special return for Ranieri; from 1982 to 1984 he wore the Rossoazzurra shirt for a total of 92 matches. And the Nerazzurri coach managed to transmit his own enthusiasm to his team, which went ahead after only 6 minutes of play. It came courtesy of Cambiasso, who finished off a move initiated by Milito and Maicon with a diagonal volley from his left foot to make the score 1-0. The Sicilians showed their teeth in the 16th minute through Izco, when the Italo-Argentine crossed from the end-line and sent a dangerous ball that Maicon cleared with Castellazzi rooted to his line. A chance for Inter came in minute 28 with a cross from Maicon for Milito, whose shot was deflected by Legrottaglie for a corner. In the 33rd minute Izco took off like a bullet and found Gomez in ahead of him, but the Argentine scuffed his shot and Castellazzi collected the rebound, unaffected by the pressure of Bergessio. Three minutes later Spolli went down after contact with Muntari on a corner but was able to continue playing in the rain that showed no sign of stopping. After a minute of injury time both teams went into the dressing rooms with the score at 0-1 from Cambiasso's goal.

SECOND HALF – The whistle blew to start play and Catania immediately became dangerous. Another deadly counterattack in the 47th minute brought them level thanks to Almiron who, served by Bergessio, shot first-time past a helpless Castellazzi. Inter responded at the other end when Maicon crossed to Muntari who had a go with a scissor-kick, but his ambitious attempt was off target. On another Catania attack Berghessio took off and faced down Castellazzi one-on-one before letting himself fall in what was an honest to goodness dive as the keeper went low for the ball and made contact only with the ground.  However, Orsato saw it differently. He booked the Nerazzurri keeper and awarded a penalty that Lodi converted to make the score 2-1.

Inter did not give up. After some nice build-up, Maicon crossed into the box but the danger was cleared by Bellusci. In the 60th minute Ranieri made three substitutions: two tactical (Alvarez and Zarate for Stankovic and Milito) and one obligatory (Samuel left for a muscle problem, replaced by Cordoba in his first appearance of the season). In the 73rd minute Zarate tried his luck from distance, but the ball ended up directly in the hands of Andujar. And two minutes later another excellent chance fell to Catania when Castellazzi saved with his feet on Delvecchio's shot, which Cordoba then cleared for a corner. In the 84th minute Castellazzi was again the protagonist; Catellani seemed sure to bag Catania's third goal when he was sent clear on a long pass, only to see the Nerazzurri keeper, facing him one-on-one in the box, palm the low shot away. Orsato added 4 minutes of injury time and Inter attempted to make the most of it, besieging the Sicilian box until the last possible moment. The ball would not go in, however, and the match ended at 2-1, leaving Inter with the same 4 points in the standings.

CATANIA - Javier Zanetti spoke to Inter Channel after the Catania game: "We mustn't focus on the penalty episode. Unfortunately it's another defeat after we did well in the first half. Everything changed in three second-half minutes; we tried to come back from that but it wasn't easy."

We're standing here talking about another defeat and lots of goals conceded," the captain continued. "That's not something we're used to. We have to change the way we look at things. We've made the sort of start that nobody expected, and we're disappointed and upset just like the fans, but we must stick together. We'll try to get back on track because this team has a lot more to give."

Cambiasso: "It's a disappointing step backwards"

CATANIA - "I usually see my own performances as secondary to the team's anyway, but this evening my performance is even less important considering the result..." That was Esteban Cambiasso's first comment about the defeat to Catania, after his goal had given Inter a first-half lead. "The move that led to my goal is one of those that when you see it unfolding you think it will all end well. But unfortunately they put together a great move of their own to equalise and then there was the penalty that handed us this defeat," added the midfielder.

"None of us imagined we would begin the season like this and it's hard to analyse it: I'm sure it's a combination of factors. It's disappointing too because we had started to turn things around with the games against Bologna and CSKA Moscow but now this is a step backwards. We need to remain calm and deal with the situation," Cambiasso concluded.

CASTELLAZZI 6- – Spettatore non pagante a parte un intervento in presa sicura, poi beffato da Almiron con quel tiro a freddo. Il rigore preso da Bergessio  e segnato da Lodi è più che altro un tuffo dell’argentino. Una storia che si ripete, purtroppo per noi. Non è il massimo su un tiro rasoterra di Gomez, bravo invece sul tiro di Delvecchio e sul tiro di Catellani che però non sembra affondare troppo convinto.

MAICON 6 – Sua la pennellata d’autore che Cambiasso converte nella rete dello 0-1. Pregevole anche una diagonale a mettere la pezza su un cross di Izco. Con le sue percussioni spariglia le carte difensive di Montella. Purtroppo, al pronti via della ripresa si perde Almiron che poi infila Julio Cesar. Spia della riserva accesa per tutta la ripresa.

LUCIO 5 – Lavoro di ordinaria amministrazione, tiene botta per un tempo. Al rientro in campo non tiene però Bergessio che riesce a servire ad Almiron la palla del pareggio. Pochi secondi e buca ancora dando campo libero all’ex Saint Etienne, nell’azione del rigore assurdo. Ancora un intervento sul pallone errato a momenti consente a Catellani di trovare il colpo del ko.

SAMUEL  6,5 – Inizia bene con un paio di interventi tempestivi su Gomez, andazzo che sostanzialmente  mantiene per tutto il primo tempo. Vede bene Orsato su un presunto contatto tra lui e il connazionale. E sui gol subiti non ha colpe evidenti. Dopo un’ora, deve arrendersi ad un problema muscolare.
DAL 62’ CORDOBA 5,5 – Debutto stagionale per il colombiano nel momento più delicato del match, a partita ormai segnata. Senza infamia, ma nemmeno senza troppa lode.

NAGATOMO 5 – Qualche difficoltà per lui, visto che il Catania usa molto la sua fascia di competenza per attaccare, soprattutto Gomez gli crea più di un grattacapo. Ci mette coraggio, specie con la squadra sotto, ma purtroppo non è supportato dai risultati.

ZANETTI 7,5 – A volte sembra che l’unico avversario in grado di fermarlo sia il campo allentato dalla pioggia incessante. E’ un muro sul quale la difesa del Catania sbatte pressoché costantemente. Da gran capitano qual è cerca di tirare fuori la squadra dai guai rincorrendo tutto e tutti e resistendo ad alcune cariche.

CAMBIASSO  6,5 – Riprende da dove aveva lasciato: gran girata al volo su cross di Maicon, colpo dettato anche dal senso della posizione, e terzo gol consecutivo al Massimino per lui. Poi è il solito moto perpetuo, corre a dare una mano soprattutto in difesa prodigandosi in una serie di recuperi di gran pregio. Nella ripresa si spegne un po’, al 90esimo spaccato avrebbe una palla buona per il 2-2 ma va a sbattere contro la difesa rossoblu.

MUNTARI 4 – Parte come esterno sinistro nel 4-4-2; nel primo tempo, a parte nel momento in cui Izco approfitta di un suo errore di valutazione lanciando un contropiede, non ha commesso chissà quali errori. Ripresa da censura: prima l’errore dal quale nasce la rete del pareggio etneo, poi un’acrobazia azzardata su punizione, dopo ancora subisce un’infilata imbarazzante da Izco. Gioca a tratti con irritante lentezza.

STANKOVIC 6+  – L’azione che porta l’Inter in vantaggio è frutto di una bella azione orchestrata in collaborazione con Milito. Riprova a costruire qualche altra azione interessante, ma i risultati non sono quelli sperati.
DAL 59’ ALVAREZ  4,5 – Inventa una bella azione personale, poi serve un paio di assist... ai giocatori del Catania, costringendo l’Inter ad affannosi interventi.

PAZZINI 5 – E’ difficile fargli arrivare la palla, entra nella cronaca piu che altro per una bella assistenza a Milito e per quello strano balletto in area con Legrottaglie a palla lontana sanzionato da Orsato chissà perché. Nel secondo tempo purtroppo è evanescente.

MILITO  6- – Anche lui condizionato dal terreno, perlomeno prova a metterci il cuore in pressing. Entra nell’azione del gol, bravo a farsi beccare da Maicon guadagnando un corner.  Porta Spolli al primo giallo del match.
Dal 59’ ZARATE 6 – Prova come sempre a metterci fosforo: subito un buono spunto a servire Pazzini. Maicon poi lo imbecca bene ma la palla scappa via. Ammonito per simulazione, stavolta Orsato ci vede bene.

ALLENATORE: RANIERI 5,5 – Ancora una volta, siamo qui a mangiarci i gomiti per l’ennesimo torto arbitrale subito, purtroppo pesantissimo perché da quel fallo non fallo di Castellazzi su Bergessio nasce il gol del definitivo 2-1. Ma a parte tutto, dopo un  primo tempo accettabile, malgrado dopo il gol non si sia visto moltissimo in avanti malgrado una buona fase difensiva, nella ripresa la squadra non scende praticamente in campo, ed è difficile spiegare tutto con l’uno-due pazzesco preso al pronti-via. Squadra spenta, se solo Zanetti corre e si prodiga per tutti c’è molto da riflettere.

MILAN – The same team that played against Lille and the same result: Inter won 1-0 and claimed their  first victory of the season at the Stadio Meazza, in Week 8 of Serie A 2011/12.
The decider came from a Sneijder corner on 34 minutes which Thiago Motta headed to put Inter in front.In the second half the Nerazzurri came close to scoring their second on more than one occasion, with Maicon even hitting the bar in the 73rd minute, but the match ended with the same score as the first half. The Nerazzurri now move on to seven points in the league table.
FIRST HALF - Claudio Ranieri reconfirmed his victorious starting line-up from the match against Lille in the Champions League. Therefore he picked Lucio and Chivu to play in front of Julio Cesar in the centre of defence, with Maicon and Nagatomo playing wide of them. The midfield was composed of Zanetti, Motta and Cambiasso, with Sneijder playing behind strikers Pazzini and Zarate.
Before the kick-off a minute's silence was held for Marco Simoncelli, the Honda rider who died earlier in an accident during the Malaysian GP in Sepang. The Nerazzurri president, Massimo Moratti stood with his hand on his heart.
The game opened with both teams testing each other out, Pazzini putting himself in the limelight with a neat backheel and various incursions into the penalty area. Zarate too, showed his skill finding open spaces and proving dangerous in one-on-one situations. Chievo stayed compact and were extremely cautious in defence. In the 19th minute Maicon turned the ball for Zarate, who shot left-footed: but it was no problem for Sorrentino who gathered the ball with ease. Three minutes later Zanetti and Motta worked a nice move, but the last ball was cut out by Jokic just inside the box. In the 24th minute Julio Cesar had to be sharp to deal with a right-footed shot from Hetemaj. The Nerazzurri were beginning to grow in confidence as Sneijder let loose a powerful right-footed shot on the half-hour mark, which just missed the post. On 33 minutes Sorrentino denied the Dutchman a goal from a free kick as he flew across the goalmouth to turn the ball away for a corner. The corner however was to result in Inter's lead. In the 34th minute, Thiago Motta headed home from Sneijder's corner. The goal gave the Nerazzurri a boost and Pazzini almost made it two, closely followed by Zarate and Sneijder. There was no added time and the teams went into the dressing rooms with the score at 1-0 to Inter.
SECOND HALF – The second half got underway without any changes in the line-ups. Inter had to back-pedal when Lucio risked a backpass and Julio Cesar's clearance went straight to Paloschi who wasted no time in shooting, but Chivu was there to hoof the ball upfield. In the 57th minute Maicon's right-footed power drive wasn't far off target and he was proving more and more dangerous for the Chievo defence. But Chievo didn't sit back, as Vacek tried a sharp right-foot and then Pellissier had a go. In the 65th minute Zanetti, Zarate and Pazzini combined to produce a skillful move but the Italy striker was closed down by Morero. A neat one-two between Maicon and Pazzini resulted in another right-footed shot from the full-back and the ball flew high over the bar. And it was Maicon again in the 73rd minute who shook the bar with another right-footed shot: the Nerazzurri came close to scoring their second, once again. On 76 minutes a Stankovic shot came off Frey's body hitting his right arm as he tried to pull it back. The Serb claimed for a penalty although the Chievo player had been trying to avoid the contact. Two minutes later Julio Cesar managed to parry a header from Cesar. In the 81st Sorrentino mesmerised Castaignos (who had come on for Pazzini), after he was set up by Stankovic. Julio Cesar had to be on his toes to deal with a shot from Moscardelli in the 82nd minute. Stankovic was unlucky to see his shot go wide in the 86th. Inter were really baring their teeth. After five minutes of added time the match between Inter and Chievo finished 1-0. This was the first win of the season for Inter at the Stadio Meazza, and their second (consecutive with that scoreline) by a margin of 1-0 after that against Lille.

MILAN - Javier Zanetti commented to Sky Sport Italia after the victory against Chievo: "The victory was important in not letting the standings weigh on us too heavily. Thiago Motta was great. Inter deservedly won, although we had to suffer until the end against a Chievo that attacked. We still hadn't been able to win at the Meazza, so this match was also important in that regard. This a group that is capable of doing great things, and we think this every game. We're working on our solidity, and we must prevent the opposing teams from doing damage to us."

The captain added: "We're restarting from these two consecutive wins. Maicon? We understand each other very well and I know that when he goes on the attack I have to stop and cover to give balance to the team. But that's okay because he's very dangerous up front.
