Simeone: "The team that has more strength, more courage, courage and constancy will stay the distance"

Diego Pablo Simeone appeared before the media in midweek, as usual since coming to Atletico Madrid, except when there are Europa League matches. The coach is waiting until after the international are over before speaking about his selection for the match against Sevilla at all. On Thursday afternoon we will all be together, which is what we expect to face a big game. We will come up againt a great team like Sevilla, who is on the rise, a team that plays well, which has strong players, they are strong in midfield and create chances with people with height. On the wings they have Reyes and Navas who’re both big players. So it will be a nice game."

As to whether his players will be affected by the involvement with their national sides, Simeone is clear: "I always say to play with the national side is an honor for the player. To me as a coach, it makes me happy when players go to the national team, it is the aim of every player. I played 14 years consecutive, I know what it is about and how good it feels as a player at that time. Hopefully they´ll come back full of joy to have been involved and we´ll see when they arrive what conditions they are in and who we can use or not."

Regarding the game against Barcelona, he acknowledges that he had mixed feelings after the defeat. "The other day after the game I felt mixed emotions because people we saying good things about us, but we had lost...The team put on a good display and we played our game and that has to give us the strength to grow from that.  We might have had a good game, but that is behind us and we’re now looking at the next game, because we have a different opponent.”

Regarding that they have only picked up three points from the last 12 available "everything depends on how you look at it, because when we arrived we were ten points behind fourth and now we are three."

啊啊，本来某人在联赛面对老东家时就是一向不怎么给力的，看了视频才想起来这轮花糕似乎还黄牌停赛……这日子可怎么过哦……只有靠蒙蒙的RP保佑了~~~
