Diego Maradona wants his Argentina team to stay focused on the job at hand rather than worry about who they may or may not meet later on in the 2010 FIFA World Cup™. The South Americans took a major step towards qualification from Group B with a commanding display against Korea Republic on Thursday as Gonzalo Higuain scored the first hat-trick of the competition in a 4-1 win in Johannesburg. "We've seen my team play, we have evaluated the players, we've taken a look at what may be in store for us, but we want to concentrate and go on playing this way," said Maradona. If someone comes late for a training session, we like to talk about it. I believe that understanding and matching things is better than giving someone a fine. If you do it nicely, things go better."

I adore Diego Armando Maradonna and i am looking forward to a final with Argentina and which ever team - probably Germany!!!. I do hope for a repeat of 1986 tournament final match with a Germany with the same result!!!!!!!

Is this the "Hand of God" working here? Lol! Whatever it is, I think Maradona is lifting his team like no other player or coach can. I admire his straighforwardness and no-nonsense take on coaching. With him in the helm, I think we may see the Argentinians in the finals!

Great run thus far. And although important to focus on today I am still crossing my fingers that we somehow avoid Germany in quarter finals (which will be an exhausting game even if we do win it) or Spain in semis...I guess we have to win a lot of big teams on the way to the final...Vamo, vamos Argentina!!!!
