天空体育消息： Alan Pardew felt his side were unlucky to go down 1-0 to Reading at Upton Park. West Ham succumbed to Seol Ki-hyeon's early goal and despite dominating for most of the game they could not find a way past a resolute Reading rearguard. The Hammers have not won since the opening day of the season, but Pardew is refusing to panic. "Well my assessment is that in terms of application I can't fault the players, they deserved something with the chances we had," said Pardew. "We dominated most of the game, but unfortunately we can't buy a goal at the minute even with all the strike power we have and we lack a little bit of luck. "We lacked a bit of rhythm as the back four had to be changed again and we need to sort that soon. "It was a great reaction from their goals, we turned up the heat and powered at them, but we just didn't have that little bit of quality for us to score." Pardew also thanked the West Ham fans for sticking by the team during the game. "That was a big fillip for me," said Pardew of the supporters' reaction. "To go four games without a win you would expect the crowd to be against you, but they were brilliant and I would like to thank them for that. "I am not too worried, we have a great squad here.
