actually, part of me don't want to see Aimar pairing with Riquelme.

If the result turns out good, fine.  but if it's proved a failure, then AIMAR will be the one blamed (by R8's fans, of course), especially in this forum.  main forum, that is.  last night I saw some IDIOT blaming Aimar for not being able to bring along a victory against Sweden in 2002.  I was just FURIOUS at that.   Most (not all) of the fans of R8 (in this forum) are just rubbish.  different types of rubbish, but rubbish still.  some pretend to be decent, some dare to say the filthiest things.    hahaha...

He really missed out some very important matches... last year...

could be decisive.

but I still don't understand why the coach even prefers Messi to Aimar.  If a place could be arranged for Messi, then same can be done for Aimar.  they are quite similar type of players.  

never mind...  I've been disappointed for so many times that now I start to care less and less.  

He shouldn't have gone to the national team this time.  what a pity he missed Agustin's birthday....  only to be provided a false hope and then benched again.

我不知道如果艾马尔上了会怎么样，但今天梅西表现的确十分出色……但我想不能说上了梅西就一定不能上艾马尔……总之我想说的就是从竞技角度说没必要把艾马尔和任何人对立起来，非此即彼……其实颇有些羡慕巴西，教练有胆量把小罗大罗卡卡罗比尼奥等人一股脑儿全派上场，随他们“瞎踢”。

至于国家队，我的确不介意阿根廷队有没有艾马尔（或者说不在乎没有艾马尔的阿根廷队），但我想艾马尔自己一定很介意自己能不能去世界杯，能不能打上主力，能不能为自己的国家取得荣誉。所以作为球迷，估计我们仍然会支持他：）

梅西的表现的确很不错。站在国家队的角度上，他和特维斯才是国家队将来的希望所在。

不过，看着曾视自己为偶像的小家伙将自己挤到板凳上，小艾的心不知道是什么滋味。反正我是不好过。虽然我也很欣赏梅西，但国家队总是个论资排辈的地方吧，佩克曼应该明白国家队对小艾意味着什么。

现在小艾的定位估计是R8的替补，或者是小前锋的替补，所以我不怀疑他能去德国，但是要坐板凳又有什么意思呢？佩克曼甚至在这样的比赛中都将梅西放在了他前面，昨天和朋友聊天的时候认为佩克曼铁定不会让梅西首发，要轮也是小艾，没想到，他还真做得出来。

比赛一场一场打，小艾的机会总是不见，真是有点灰心了。

But I do feel that Aimar's come to a critical point in his career.

He's still good enough to have a position in any first class team, but unless he can improve his efficiency, he's not going to achieve anything bigger.  Now you watch him play, active, acurate, dynamic, he shines, but is not decisive.  You can see him attempting a lot, but results not as good as it should be.

我还是觉得，没有必要把艾马尔和梅西，和里克尔梅，或者路冈，或者任何其它人对立起来……当然如大家所说，首先要教练不这样做。
中国古代的士大夫常常说“穷则独善其身，达则兼济天下”，如今艾马尔的处境虽然说不上十分困窘潦倒，但与国家队的关系倒是颇为尴尬，这句话也还能应景。我只盼望无人赏识他时，他也能好好训练，在俱乐部好好踢，有人赏识有了机会时，能尽情施展尽情表现，有一番作为，如此亦无憾矣。
