It is understood that the proposed takeover of West Ham United by Iranian businessman Kia Joorabchian will be finalised this week and possibly confirmed to the stock exchange on Friday. Joorabchian and his Isreali backer Eli Papouchado are reported to have seen the Hammers’ books and undertook the process of due diligence this week. Upon completion of the takeover it is still understood that under pressure manager Alan Pardew will be sacked as the new board look to move in a different direction. One man who will certainly be laughing all the way to the bank is the current West Ham’s chairman Terence Brown.
